Secret Agent(1976)

Secret Agent is a Korean historical film set during Japan's early occupation of Korea. After King Gojong is forced to abdicate, the nation's army dissolves, leaving patriots scrambling to preserve Korean sovereignty. So-chun, daughter of a soldier who died protecting the realm, joins the underground resistance movement Dongsanbang alongside Min Jeong-gyo, whom she marries. When Japanese forces steal the hidden gold that King Gojong had ordered Lee Yong-ik to safeguard for restoration efforts, So-chun and Min Jeong-gyo emerge as key figures in the fight to reclaim their nation's independence. The film chronicles their struggle within a network of devoted resistance fighters determined to restore Korea's freedom.
