The Shadow of Swordsman: Deadly Secret is a historical action film set in 618 AD Chang'an City. When four prison doors are mysteriously opened, minister Li Shimin orchestrates the arrest of death row inmates—a move that conceals a deeper conspiracy. His brothers Li Jiancheng and Li Yuanji, allied with the powerful Lingnan He family, plot to eliminate him. As tensions escalate and a shadowy figure named Li Yufeng emerges to intervene, the film reveals that Li Shimin has engineered the entire crisis as part of an elaborate scheme.
