Maresia(2016)

Maresia is a film that blurs the boundary between truth and invention. An art expert investigates the life of a painter who drowned half a century ago, only to find the past intruding when a contemporary friend suddenly appears bearing the painter's presence. As the expert digs deeper into the biography, reality and fiction become increasingly difficult to separate. The mystery unfolds through an unsettling exploration of memory, identity, and the stories we tell about the dead.
