Une villa pour deux is a French comedy about a son's misguided attempt to solve a family problem. After his father's death, Daniel convinces his widowed mother Marion to move in with him in Paris. A year later, desperate for his own space, Daniel persuades her to buy a villa in the countryside—one that exists only in glossy brochures. He hires real estate developer François Ferardini to oversee the final construction phase. When Daniel visits the site, he discovers the project is a complete disaster, with nothing remotely close to completion. François offers endless excuses and explanations for the delays. Now Daniel must navigate the chaos of a crumbling deal, his mother's disappointment, and his own poor judgment, all while trying to salvage the situation before everything falls apart.
