Dragon's Return(1968)

Dragon's Return is a drama about redemption and isolation. Martin Leaps, a potter known as Dragon, was driven from his village years ago after false accusations tied him to a series of natural disasters. He lost everything—his wife, his home, his freedom. When he returns to his native village, he attempts to prove himself by risking his life to save a herd of cows from a forest fire. Yet even this heroic act fails to restore the trust of the locals who once condemned him. The film explores how love, hate, and the search for belonging can define a life, and whether one selfless deed can ever undo the weight of collective suspicion.
