DJ Q.bert's Wave Twisters is an animated film that follows a ragtag crew fighting to preserve hip-hop's core arts—breaking, graffiti, MCing, and DJing—from extinction. Set in a surreal inner-space realm, the heroes face off against the tyrannical Lord Ook and his minions, the Chinheads, who seek to destroy these cultural traditions. Led by the dental commander Dr. Julio Azul DDS alongside allies Honey Drips, Robot Rubbish, and Grandpa, the team embarks on a series of music-synced adventures armed with the Wave Twister, an ancient turntable-wristwatch hybrid and their only hope against the oppressive forces.
