Dancer on the Wounds(1974)

Dancer on the Wounds is an Egyptian drama following a belly dancer and sex worker who falls for a prominent doctor willing to marry her. Fearing she'll damage his reputation, she abandons him and returns to her former life, hoping to forget him with another man. She soon discovers he too has a family he cherishes. Convinced she's unsuited for marriage or domestic stability, the dancer drifts from lover to lover, her faith in love eroded by circumstance and choice.
