Utopia(2016)

Utopia is a thriller following six old friends who hire a smuggler to escape their country illegally under cover of darkness. When the smuggler betrays them, they're forced to take drastic action and flee into the night. Hunted by the smuggler's associates determined to steal their money, the group struggles through fear and panic as they navigate toward an unknown destination. As dawn breaks, they follow a road that leads them to a catastrophic mistake, leaving them isolated and desperate. The film explores themes of desperation and survival as the six protagonists grapple with fundamental questions about who they're running from and where they're actually headed. Tension mounts throughout their harrowing journey as they confront the consequences of their choices and the true cost of their escape attempt.
