Beyond A Year in Space is a documentary that follows astronaut Scott Kelly's readjustment to Earth after spending nearly a year aboard the International Space Station. While his twin brother Mark remained on Earth, scientists conducted intensive measurements to study the physiological effects of long-duration spaceflight. This PBS and Time production picks up where the previous film left off, documenting Scott's return and the rigorous medical testing both brothers undergo to understand how space altered his body and mind. The film also tracks two new astronauts, Jessica Meir and Victor Glover, as they prepare for their own missions, exploring humanity's push toward deeper space exploration and the scientific challenges that lie ahead.
