Aşk Hırsızı(1961)

Aşk Hırsızı is a Turkish drama about Zeki, a struggling young man who works tirelessly to support his ailing mother while his gambling-addicted brother squanders every opportunity. When a wealthy family moves into their neighborhood, Zeki's brother hatches a scheme: he convinces Zeki to pose as a rich businessman and seduce their reclusive daughter Leyla to steal the family's fortune. Leyla, isolated and withdrawn, begins to open up to Zeki's charm. What starts as deception deepens into genuine affection as Zeki discovers he's fallen for her. When his true circumstances emerge, Zeki must choose between his family's desperation and the love he's found—a conflict that tests whether his feelings were ever real or merely part of the con.
