Broken Blade: Scars from an Assassin's Blade is a fantasy anime film set on the continent of Cruzon, where most inhabitants command quartz through innate sorcery. Rygart Arrow is an un-sorcerer—a rare exception unable to manipulate even the smallest crystal—living a quiet farm life until his old friend King Hodr summons him. War looms, and the kingdom has discovered an ancient Golem in a mining shaft that no one can operate.
