Fakin' Da Funk is a comedy about cultural identity and belonging in South Central Los Angeles. When May-Ling, an Asian exchange student, arrives to stay with another Black family in the same community, the two form an unlikely bond. Together they grapple with questions of race, acceptance, and what it truly means to belong.
