Into a Dream follows Mutsugoro Suzuki, a minor theatre actor who embarks on a surreal journey home with an unusual mission: to track down the person who infected him with a sexually transmitted disease. What begins as a personal vendetta transforms into something far more dreamlike and philosophical as Suzuki navigates a series of strange encounters and shifting realities. The film blends dark comedy with existential reflection, exploring themes of identity, shame, and human connection through its protagonist's increasingly absurd quest.
