Late December(2010)

Late December is a drama about two lonely souls who find unexpected connection in a remote village. Aïcha, a restless factory worker in her twenties, has withdrawn from life after her lover abandoned her for Europe. Adam, a disillusioned doctor exhausted by urban suffering and isolation, flees to the same desolate village seeking peace and escape from his past. When their paths cross, Aïcha's raw energy and hunger for something more awaken Adam from his self-imposed numbness. Set against a sparse landscape, the film explores how two people broken by circumstance and longing might heal each other, or whether their collision will simply deepen their wounds. A quiet, intimate portrait of yearning and the fragile possibility of human connection.
