Banus, the Horse Thief(1967)

Banus, the Horse Thief is a Turkish drama centered on an unlikely romance born from crime and redemption. When Sadık Ağa seeks to marry Rasim Ağa's daughter Zeynep against her father's wishes, he hires the region's most skilled horse thief, Banuş, to kidnap her. Banuş completes the job for payment, but quickly regrets his role in the scheme. Consumed by guilt, he raids Sadık Ağa's estate, rescues Zeynep, and returns her to her father.
