Created by San Francisco's Shotgun Players and New York's Banana Bag & Bodice, this SongPlay is an irreverent examination of art versus criticism. The production strips away the dusty interpretations that have accumulated over centuries, delivering the ancient tale with defiant energy and dark humor.
