One in a Million is a Swedish drama about an ordinary man whose carefully ordered life unravels. Torsten Södergren has spent two decades working at a bank, maintaining the rhythms of suburban normalcy: the same commute, the same neighbours, the same predictable days. When he's suddenly fired after twenty years of loyal service, his desperation to reclaim his position pushes him toward increasingly extreme measures. The film explores what happens when a man defined by routine and respectability is stripped of his identity, and how far he'll go to restore it. It's a character study that examines the fragility of middle-class stability and the psychological toll of sudden displacement.
