Imaginary Playmate is a supernatural thriller about a stepmother who begins to suspect her young stepdaughter's invisible friend is something far more sinister. When six-year-old Molly starts talking to an unseen companion after moving into a new home, Suzanne initially dismisses it as a normal part of childhood adjustment. But as strange occurrences plague the house and Molly's behavior grows increasingly disturbing, Suzanne becomes convinced the playmate is actually a vengeful spirit. Desperate to protect her stepdaughter, she faces a mounting crisis of credibility—no one believes her warnings, and her own sanity comes into question. Caught between protecting a child and proving the impossible, Suzanne must uncover the truth before the malevolent presence claims another victim.
