The Return of Erlang Shen(2020)

The Return of Erlang Shen is a fantasy film rooted in Chinese mythology. To preserve peace across the three realms, the Heavenly Emperor dispatches Yang Jian and his celestial Skyhound to eliminate Tai Bai Xingjun. The mission goes catastrophically wrong when the Skyhound is stripped of its bones and transformed into a demon. A thousand years later, as the prophesied Xuantian Luo Jing approaches birth, the guilt-ridden Yang Jian faces a new trial. Summoned once more by the Heavenly Emperor, he must descend to the earthly realm to confront the consequences of his past failure and prevent a calamity that threatens all three worlds.
