Pinpin follows a young man recently arrived from Europe who settles into life in Buenos Aires's Once neighbourhood with his sister. As he adjusts to his new surroundings, he nurtures a quiet obsession: the possibility that the cashier at the local Chinese supermarket might return his affection. The film captures the mundane rhythms of daily existence—apartment life, neighbourhood routines, chance encounters—while exploring the gap between hope and reality.
