The Trap(2017)

The Trap is a Korean thriller about a prosecutor's fatal mistake. Min Seok, a successful and married prosecutor, meets Ah Yeon at a tennis court and accepts her seemingly innocent help. She begins reaching out to him frequently, and despite his resistance, he finds himself drawn to her. When Min Seok is suddenly accused of bribery and faces losing his career, his marriage crumbles under the strain. Unable to resist Ah Yeon's persistent attention, he starts an affair he'll come to regret. What begins as a moment of weakness spirals into a dangerous trap as Min Seok discovers that Ah Yeon's interest in him may have been calculated all along. The film explores how one compromised decision can unravel a man's entire life.
