Gioventù disperata(1957)

Gioventù disperata is an Italian drama about a doctor consumed by grief and rage. When a young man from Madrid's poorest neighbourhood accidentally kills his wife, the doctor travels there seeking vengeance. Instead, he encounters the killer's vulnerable sister and the community's crushing poverty. A chance meeting with a compassionate local priest shifts his perspective entirely.
