There Are Marriages... And Then There Are Marriages

Group Marriage is a 1970s drama exploring unconventional relationships and social rebellion. Chris grows dissatisfied with her boyfriend Sandor and begins an affair with parole officer Dennis. When Dennis invites the couple to dinner with his ex-girlfriend Jan, the connections multiply. At a beach picnic, Jan meets lifeguard Phil, who soon becomes involved with Chris and moves into their shared home. Phil introduces lawyer Elaine to the group, and the six form an experimental living arrangement that challenges societal norms. Their unconventional "group marriage" quickly attracts media scrutiny, exposing the couple to public judgment and prejudice that tests their commitment to their radical lifestyle experiment.
