Kunta(2013)

Kunta is an animated film set eighteen hundred years in the future on the drought-stricken planet Peanuts. When a legendary hero sacrificed his life force to save a dying cactus and restore his city of Baraboo, the grateful people named the plant after him and vowed he would return in their darkest hour. Centuries later, when drought returns, a young boy named Spinach hears Kunta's call and sets out on a quest to become the hero his world needs. Joined by his best friend Milk Bubble, Spinach faces ridicule and doubt from those around him but refuses to abandon his mission. The film follows their journey as they search for answers and discover what it truly means to be a hero.
