Love Hurts(1993)

Love Hurts is a Dutch drama set in 1990s Amsterdam that follows Loe and Bob, a couple at odds over their futures. Loe, a free-spirited singer devoted to migrant advocacy, thrives on nightlife and spontaneity. Bob, a driven lawyer, prioritizes his career above all else. As their relationship deepens, fundamental incompatibilities surface, forcing both to confront what they truly want. The film captures the friction between ambition and passion, duty and desire, as two people discover that love alone may not be enough to bridge their diverging paths.
