Ear(2018)

Ear is a science fiction film set in a future where loneliness and existential dread have become epidemic. A mobile psychologist service operates from taxis, offering passengers a chance to confess their deepest struggles to silent drivers who listen without judgment. As the service gains traction, we meet several "patients" grappling with disconnection and meaninglessness. One passenger reveals a haunting admission: "Sometimes I feel like a robot. But not more often than ordinary people." Through these intimate encounters, the film explores what it means to be human in an age of isolation, where the simple act of being heard becomes a rare and precious commodity. The quiet, contemplative tone examines modern alienation and the hunger for genuine connection.
