Ganes(2007)

Ganes is a Finnish film that follows Remu, a young man from a working-class background who drops out of school and drifts into petty crime. Trapped in a cycle of poverty and violence that has claimed his family, Remu discovers rock music and teaches himself to play drums. He throws himself into the local music scene, forming bands and chasing a way out. A stint in jail derails his momentum, but upon release, Remu channels his raw energy into starting Hurriganes, a band that will define his life. The film traces his struggle between the criminal underworld pulling him down and the redemptive power of music pushing him forward.
