Karu is a dark psychological drama about a man's descent into obsession. Infertile and desperate to pass on his bloodline, he manipulates his sister into becoming a surrogate mother for his child. What begins as a family arrangement spirals into a disturbing exploration of control, legacy, and the lengths one person will go to satisfy their need for identity. The film examines how selfishness and desperation can corrode relationships and moral judgment, trapping those closest to him in his increasingly toxic world.
