Kill the Poor(2003)

Kill the Poor is a film about Joe, who relocates his pregnant French wife to a tenement on New York's Lower East Side after their marriage of convenience becomes genuine. The neighborhood Joe discovers bears little resemblance to the romanticized stories his immigrant grandparents told of arriving there decades earlier.
