Misafir(2011)

Misafir is a Turkish drama about Oktay, a man who returns to his hometown of Kütahya after years in Paris, only to confront the painful reasons he fled. During his brief visit, he meets Ayşe, a rural woman trapped in an unhappy marriage and yearning for freedom beyond her confined world. The two find unexpected solace in each other, but their newfound happiness hinges on a difficult choice: Ayşe must decide whether to abandon everything she knows and follow Oktay to Paris. Her decision carries weight for them both—for Ayşe, it means risking everything for a chance at real happiness; for Oktay, it represents a chance to finally belong somewhere.
