Occupant(2011)

Occupant is a horror film following Danny Hill, a 25-year-old who inherits his grandmother's sprawling rent-controlled Manhattan apartment. To claim the lease, Danny must spend twelve consecutive days locked inside the space. But he quickly discovers he's not alone. As strange occurrences unfold within the apartment's walls, Danny faces an escalating supernatural threat that tests his grip on reality and his will to survive. The film builds tension through confinement and paranoia, trapping both protagonist and audience in an unsettling game where the stakes are Danny's sanity—and his life.
