Plaster(2018)

Plaster is a dark comedy about Fitz, a teenager whose faith in love crumbles when her parents announce their divorce. Already dreading what promises to be the worst Christmas imaginable, Fitz's world spirals further when her sister Bente's accident—a lost fingertip—forces the entire fractured family into the hospital. Trapped together in cramped quarters, her newly separated parents navigate their awkwardness while Fitz's anger reaches a breaking point. She bolts deeper into the hospital, setting off a chain of events that tests the family's bonds in unexpected ways. The film balances sharp humor with genuine emotion as these characters confront love, loss, and what it means to stay connected when everything feels broken.
