Raw Timber(1937)

Raw Timber is a forest ranger drama centered on Tom Corbin's discovery of illegal timber operations within the McFarland and Williams Lumber Company's grant. When Corbin uncovers Bart Williams systematically harvesting excess timber and falsifying government reports, he threatens a lucrative scheme. Williams and his enforcer "Bull" Riley move to silence him, leaving Corbin brutally beaten and facing dangerous odds. The film pits an honest ranger against corporate greed and corruption, exploring themes of integrity in the wilderness and the cost of standing against powerful interests.
