Temporary Release(2007)

Temporary Release is a Danish drama following John, a prisoner serving time for petty crime who receives accompanied leave to attend his son's wedding. Assigned to escort him is Bo, a provincial officer whose job is to ensure John returns to prison. As the two men navigate the day together, their contrasting backgrounds and perspectives create an unexpected dynamic. The film explores themes of redemption, family bonds, and second chances against the backdrop of a celebration that carries deeper meaning for a man separated from his life outside prison walls.
