Where the Heart Is(1969)

Where the Heart Is is an American soap opera that aired on CBS from September 1969 to March 1973. Created by Lou Scofield and Margaret DePriest, the series ran for 25 minutes per episode, with the remaining time in its slot devoted to CBS news coverage. The show's writing team evolved throughout its run: Scofield and DePriest served as original head writers before Pat Falken Smith took over after the first year. In 1972, Claire Labine and Paul Avila Mayer assumed writing duties. Tom Donovan produced the series while Richard Dunlap directed, steering the drama through its nearly four-year broadcast span on daytime television.
