The Games(2003)

The Games is a British reality competition series that aired on Channel 4 across four series, featuring ten celebrities competing in Olympic-style athletic events including weightlifting, gymnastics, and diving. Contestants earned gold, silver, or bronze medals based on their accumulated points throughout each round. Jamie Theakston presented the main show for its entire run, with trackside commentary from Jayne Middlemiss in the first three series and Kirsty Gallacher in the fourth. Most filming took place at Sheffield Arena, Don Valley Stadium, and Ponds Forge, with later series expanding to the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, iceSheffield, and the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham. The Games also spawned companion shows on E4: The Games: Live at Trackside, hosted by various presenters across its run, and additional afternoon and evening programming during the final series.
