New Fist of the North Star is a post-apocalyptic anime series where water has become humanity's most precious resource. After a catastrophic event poisons Earth's water supply, a warlord named Sanga controls the only safe reservoir and rules his fortified domain, The Lastland. When a remote village discovers their own clean water source, Sanga dispatches his army of killers to eliminate them and claim it. A mysterious martial artist named Kenshiro emerges to stop the massacre. Wielding the legendary fighting technique Hokuto Shin Ken, Kenshiro possesses superhuman strength and precision. As Sanga grows increasingly desperate to seize the water at any cost, Kenshiro stands as the only force capable of challenging him.
