A Place Of One's Own(1998)

A Place Of One's Own is a Hong Kong series following Fong Hsin-cheol, a celebrated young fund manager whose career unravels after a costly investment failure. When his jealous boss uses the mistake to force him out, Hsin-cheol decides to leave his stable life—including his free-spirited supermodel girlfriend Tang Qi—and start his own investment firm. His friend and colleague Lu Haochang appears to join him out of loyalty, but harbors a darker secret: he's drowning in debt from the same failed investment and is really just trying to escape creditors.
