Where's Huddles?(1970)

Where's Huddles? is a Hanna-Barbera animated series that premiered on CBS in summer 1970 as a nine-week replacement show. The comedy follows Ed Huddles, quarterback for the Rhinos, and his neighbor Bubba McCoy, the team's center, as they navigate life on and off the field alongside their wives and teammates. Like The Flintstones, the show borrowed the studio's signature formula: prime-time animation with a laugh track and adult-oriented humor aimed at family audiences. The cast includes acerbic neighbor Claude Pertwee, who dismisses the football players as "savages," and comedic actress Marie Wilson in her final role. William Hanna and Joseph Barbera produced and directed all ten episodes, bringing their characteristic blend of domestic sitcom sensibility to professional sports.
