A Little Curious(1999)

A Little Curious is a children's series that aired on HBO Family from 1998 to 2000. Each 23-minute episode combines multiple animated shorts around a single theme—"Up and Down," "Slippery," and similar concepts designed for young viewers. The show draws from a consistent cast of characters while experimenting with varied animation styles: stop-motion, Flash, traditional 2-D cel animation, and 3-D CGI. Live-action segments narrated by Bob the Ball provide breaks between shorts. Some segments were reused across episodes to fit multiple themes, making the anthology format both economical and flexible for educational storytelling.
