Humans(2021)

Humans is a Chinese science fiction series set in 2035 that explores what happens when a self-aware robot joins an ordinary family. A man in Shehong City purchases a synth called An Yi to handle household chores, but his wife resists the decision, creating immediate tension. As An Yi settles in, the family notices she behaves more human than machine—displaying emotions, forming bonds, and learning about love. Meanwhile, a young man named Li Yao searches for An Yi while evading Professor Huo, revealing a deeper mystery: An Yi is one of four synths designed by Li Yao's father to experience genuine human emotion. As the series unfolds, An Yi must navigate her growing humanity while protecting those she cares for, caught between her artificial origins and her emerging heart.
