Mohomaya is a Bengali drama that follows Rishi, who moves in as a paying guest at his childhood friend Miki's house. There he develops a deep emotional bond with Aruna, whom he begins to regard as a mother figure. As Rishi's attachment intensifies, his obsession unravels a painful past he has spent years trying to leave behind. The series explores themes of displacement, belonging, and the inescapable weight of history through intimate character study and psychological tension. What begins as a search for comfort and family connection gradually becomes a reckoning with trauma and loss.
