Dokutsu Ojisan(2015)

Dokutsu Ojisan is a Japanese drama set in rural 1959, following Kazuma, a boy who flees his abusive home at thirteen and disappears into the mountains. Living alone in a cave for years, he develops survival skills—crafting weapons, hunting game, and relying on his dog for companionship. When a kind farming couple discovers him as a grown man, still dressed in animal hides, Kazuma must navigate the bewildering process of rejoining society. The series explores his gradual reconnection with the world after decades of isolation, capturing both the hardship of his solitary existence and the tender humanity of those who help him find his way back.
