South Beach(1993)

South Beach is an American action-adventure series that aired on NBC in summer 1993. Created by Dick Wolf and Robert DeLaurentis, the show stars Yancy Butler as Kate Patrick, a skilled thief who strikes a deal with a government agency: work for mysterious handler Roberts or face prison time. Alongside her partner Vernon, Kate undertakes covert missions that leverage their criminal expertise, navigating the glamorous and dangerous world of Miami's South Beach. The series draws inspiration from the Modesty Blaise character archetype, blending heist elements with spy-thriller tension. Patti D'Arbanville co-stars in the ensemble cast.
