Hunter(2021)

Hunter is a Chinese drama series that opens with the murder of two policemen by poachers in Xinjiang's remote north. Five years later, former officer Wei Jiang abandons his post to become a border protector, taking on young recruit Qin Chuan as his protégé. As they patrol the wilderness, they meet Ye Xiao Wan, a local veterinarian, and Sai Na, an animal rights activist. The unlikely team uncovers evidence of the original poaching operation and launches a dangerous investigation to bring the criminals to justice.
