Xia Tan Gao Fei(2014)

Xia Tan Gao Fei is a Chinese series set in 1945, following the Japanese surrender and the discovery of hidden arms in Longcheng. Gao Fei travels to the city on a personal mission—to uncover the truth about his dead brother—but finds himself caught in a chaotic power struggle. The Communists, the Kuomintang, and local warlords all converge on the weapons cache, each determined to claim it. Gao Fei assembles a team including Jin Xiaoban and He Min, navigating uneasy alliances with Communist operatives, Shen Bing from the Kuomintang, the ruthless warlord Lu Dingjun, and Japanese soldiers refusing to accept defeat. Amid shifting loyalties and mounting danger, Gao Fei must survive the collision of three factions while pursuing answers about his brother's fate.
