World of Pub(2001)

World of Pub is a British sitcom set in an East End London pub, written by Tony Roche and produced by Jane Berthoud. The series began as a radio comedy on BBC Radio 4, with two four-episode runs between 1998 and 1999—the first series featured 15-minute episodes, while the second expanded to 30 minutes. The format proved successful enough to transition to television, where BBC Two broadcast six 30-minute episodes in summer 2001. The show captures the everyday chaos and character-driven humour of pub life in London's working-class East End, blending observational comedy with the quirks of its regular patrons and staff.
