Rain Shadow(2007)

Rain Shadow is an Australian drama series that premiered on ABC TV in October 2007. Set in the fictional dry farming district of Paringa, the six-part series follows Kate McDonald, a district veterinarian played by Rachel Ward, and Jill Blake, a newly arrived veterinary assistant portrayed by Victoria Thaine. The two women become unexpectedly central to each other's futures as they navigate life in a rain shadow region. Shot on location in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, Rain Shadow explores rural community and personal connection against a backdrop of agricultural hardship. The series features music by The Audreys, including the theme song, and aired Sunday evenings on ABC.
