Roman's Empire(2007)

Roman's Empire is a comedy series that follows the chaotic Pretty family and the outsiders drawn into their orbit. Leo, an ex-boyfriend still living with the household, grows suspicious of Nikki's new partner Seb and his questionable background. Meanwhile, Leo's best friend Jase struggles to escape his marriage to eldest daughter Jenny and their demanding newborn. The family's world tilts further when a Japanese chef, Mr. Hokkasawa, takes a job as their gardener—ostensibly to exact revenge on Roman for costing him his restaurant position. But Hokkasawa's vengeful plan unravels when he develops genuine feelings for the youngest daughter, Kelly.
