Pigeon Street(1981)

Pigeon Street is a British children's series following the everyday lives of residents in a modest urban neighbourhood. Clara works as a long-distance lorry driver while her husband Hugo runs a kitchen as a chef. Their neighbours include Mr Baskerville, a detective; Mr Jupiter, an astronomer; and Mr Macadoo, who runs the local pet shop. Twins Molly and Polly round out the cast, identifiable only by the letters on their jumpers. The street itself is home to a flock of pigeons that appear throughout each episode, occasionally playing a role in the unfolding stories. The series captures the small dramas and gentle humour of community life, offering young viewers a window into the routines and relationships that define their neighbourhood.
